I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel up on a hill in a beautiful city. The value for money was excellent, making it a great choice for budget-conscious travelers like myself. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds that ensured a good night's sleep. One detail that really stood out was the attention to detail, as the staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They even helped me retrieve a forgotten item and sent it back to my home country, an act of kindness that I truly appreciated. Another highlight was the delicious breakfast served across the street, where I had the chance to meet the friendly and welcoming parents of the host. this hotel offered a homely atmosphere and provided all the basic amenities, including a convenient kitchenette in the room.
All was more than satisfactory!

I had a wonderful experience staying at Blue Door Housing Historic. The owner, Alejandro, went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. He personally took me on a tour of hidden gems in Quito and made sure I had the best recommendations for food and activities. The hostel itself had a charming and homey feel, with comfortable beds and clean shared bathrooms. Despite being in an old part of Quito, the property was secure and I always felt safe. I had a fantastic time and highly recommend staying at Blue Door Housing Historic.

I had a pleasant stay in a well-located hostel with friendly staff. It is situated near to a popular landmark and only a short walk to the city center. the hostel has a homely feel and creates a serene atmosphere that is complemented by calming music playing all day in the sunny courtyard.
My experience was tainted by several negative aspects. the showers were frustrating as they cycled hot and cold, needing constant adjustment to find a satisfying constant temperature.

Spent Xmas in this cozy and welcoming place close to the historical center. The friendly staff helped us with holiday activities and provided a warm atmosphere. The breathtaking view from the rooftop terrace was unforgettable, around the corner we found nice restaurants and cafes. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the hot showers were so relaxing. We enjoyed the breakfast, it was simple but good.
The steep hill to get to the hotel and the fact that the internet service was slow. It wasn't an issue for us, but some guests might mind it.
